After extensive excavation and earthworks to allow for a large space on one level, the retaining walls were installed to wrap around the yard and provide this sense of space.

Extending the alfresco with crazy pave limestone pavers provided the client with a larger entertainign space but also created a secondary place for just chilling with a book, laying back on the merbau bench seat or warming up around the firepit.

The cool and tranquil sounds of a gentle waterfall built into the walls can be enjoyed at anytime whilst in the backyard.

At night the space again comes to life and entertaining can continue. Lights highligght important features and also provide a soft ambient light to surround you while you enjoy the evening.

A soft planting pallette provides additional levels of texture and colour throughout the garden. Walking through the tropical foliage calms the mind and transports you to lush tropical coastal feels.

The clients will enjoy this relatively low maintenance garden for many years. Plants will require a light trim from time to time, the irrigation system we installed will water the lawns and gardens automatically so one less thing to worry about for the owner.

Good thick mulch layers in the gardens will also help supress the weeds and again help keep maintenance low, which is what almost everyone desires.
